Factors Affecting Umrah Ticket Cost
In this section, I’ll share different factors that can affect the ticket price of Umrah from Pakistan. Let’s begin!
There are many different choices of airlines for you to travel with from Pakistan to Saudia Arabia, and I cannot call one the best because each airline provides different facilities. In this section, I’ll explain the ticket prices of popular airlines
Saudi Arabia Airlines, also called Saudia, is one of the five-star airlines that are grounded in Jeddah. If you want to travel to Medinah from Pakistan via Saudi Airlines, the expense will be around 150,686 PKR.
Pakistan International Airlines is the only Pakistan-based airline that offers international flights and many Umrah pilgrimage travel using PIA. If you want to travel to Medinah from Pakistan via PIA, your budget will be around 151,024 PKR
Oman Air is the airline of the Sultanate of Oman based in Muscat that provides excellent services to many different countries including Saudi Arabia. Oman Air costs you 160,678 PKR for the round trip from Pakistan to Jeddah
Emirates is the biggest international airline in the world providing exemplary services to Saudi Arabia from different countries. Emirates costs you around 174,443 PKR for a round trip from Pakistan to Saudia.
Qatar Airways is another popular international airline that you can use to travel from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia. The cost of Qatar Airways cost around 169,567 PKR for a round trip
The ticket price also varies with the class for example economy class, premium economy, first class, and business class. If you want to travel via economy class, the round trip will cost you around 214,957 PKR. If you travel on a business flight, you need to pay around 5 lacs for a round trip, while the business class fare varies with the airlines too but that’s a slight change. For instance, 439,392 PKR for a round trip in business class with Qatar Air and 489,434 PKR with Emirates business class.
Another factor that affects the ticket price is the booking time! In simple words, if you book the Umrah ticket beforehand, it will cost you less but if you book the same ticket from the same airline on an urgent basis, the price will rise greatly. To avoid this increase in cost, you should plan and get the ticket as soon as possible
The departure and arrival city also impacts the net cost for the Umrah ticket; for example, if you’re traveling from Islamabad to Jeddah, the price will be more as compared to the ticket for Karachi to Jeddah. That’s why it is suggested to check the prices for each city and settle the cost where possible. I have seen people traveling in-city to cut down the extra fare for international flights
